EUROPA: a dicembre le COSTRUZIONI CRESCONO dello 0,9% nell’AREA EURO e dell’1% in EU28

In EUROPA le COSTRUZIONI CRESCONO dello 0,9% in un mese, +1% in EU28 u base annuale se si confronta l'intero 2013 con il 2013 sia una perdita totale rispettivamente del 2,9% e del 2,2%.

La comparazione tra i mesi di dicembre e novembre del 2013 evidenzia una crescita dello 0,9% nell'Area EA17 e dell'1% nell'Area EU28, in accordo con le prime stime di EUROSTAT.
In novembre 2013 la produzione era invece scesa dello 0,2% e dello 0,8% rispetto ad ottobre 2013 .
 
Facendo un confronto invece tra dicembre 2013 e dicembre 2012, si registra un calo dello 0,2% nell’Euro Area, ma una crescita dello 0,8% nell'Area EU28. Su base annuale se si confronta l'intero 2013 con il 2012 è possibile osservare che la perdita totale è rispettivamente del 2,9% (Area Euro) e del 2,2% (Area EU28).
 
 
Comparazione mensile
Considerando i Paesi in cui sono disponibili i dati, si vede che 9 di questi crescono e 6 calano. Le crescite maggiori si sono osservate nella Repubblica Ceca  (+6.0%), Francia (+4.5%) e Slovacchia (+2.9%), mentre i cali maggiori si sono registrati in Slovenia (-17.2%), Polonia (-4.1%) e Spagna(-3.3%).
 
 
Comparazione annuale
Considerando i Paesi in cui sono disponibili i dati, si vede che 10 di questi crescono e 5 calano. I cali maggiori si sono osservati in Portogallo (-14.1%), Italia (-8.8%) e Spagna (-4.7%),  le crescite migliori in Ungheria (+11.5%), Slovacchia (+9.2%) e UK (+6.8%).

December 2013 compared with November 2013 

Euro area production in construction up by 0.9% 

In December 2013 compared with November 2013, seasonally adjusted production in the construction1 sector grew by 0.9% in the euro area2 (EA17) and by 1.0% in the EU282, according to first estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. In November 20133, production in construction fell by 0.2% and 0.8% respectively. 

In December 2013 compared with December 20124, production in construction declined by 0.2% in the euro area, but rose by 0.8% in the EU28. 

Average production in construction for the year 2013, compared with 2012, dropped by 2.9% in the euro area and by 2.2% in the EU28. 

Monthly comparison 

Among the Member States for which data are available for December 2013, production in construction rose in nine and fell in six. The highest increases were observed in the Czech Republic (+6.0%), France (+4.5%) and Slovakia (+2.9%), and the largest decreases in Slovenia (-17.2%), Poland (-4.1%) and Spain (-3.3%). 

Building construction grew by 0.6% in the euro area and by 0.7% in the EU28, after -0.7% and -1.0% respectively in November 2013. Civil engineering gained 3.8% in the euro area and 3.5% in the EU28, after +1.1% and -0.7% respectively in the previous month. 

Annual comparison 

Among the Member States for which data are available for December 2013, production in construction fell in five and rose in ten. The largest decreases were registered in Portugal (-14.1%), Italy (-8.8%) and Spain (-4.7%), and the highest increases in Hungary (+11.5%), Slovakia (+9.2%) and the United Kingdom (+6.8%). 

Building construction dropped by 0.9% in the euro area, but increased by 0.1% in the EU28, after -1.3% and -0.8% respectively in November 2013. Civil engineering rose by 1.7% in the euro area and by 2.3% in the EU28, after -2.6% and -3.7% respectively in the previous month.
